News for 2011 Racing Season

RoadsportUSA is proud to announce the addition of three new member  to our team for 2011.

.

Bob Rayner from Depford, NJ. will be joining the  team as event manager and backup driver.

Dave Shindle from Alexandria, Va. will be joining the team as Pro-Rally co-driver and backup driver.

Angela Cosner from Scranton, Pa. will be joining the team as pro-Rally co-driver .

Joe Umbrell from Doylestown, Pa. will be helping with service at most of the roadracing and rally events in 2011. Joe is a Auto cross competitor.

Team Members needed for 2011

RoadsportUSA is looking for dedicated volunteers to help in the following roles:

(1) Field Service Mechanic - assisting the team on the road with race car preparation/maintenance .

(2) Body Repair/Paint Technician - in-shop experienced techs with a desire to work on race and rally cars.

BIG NEWS FOR 2011

The team is awaiting the arrival of the NEW FIAT 500.  We are excited about the race development of this car. We feel it will be very exciting to roadrace and auto cross this new platform. Co-team manager Andrew Smith has already started the research and development  of the new Fiat 500 for the team.

BIG NEWS FOR 2004

 October 15, 2004, Team owner Ron Norton won the SCCA northeast Div. Group 2 championship for the 2004 season. This was a team effort and I was happy with the performance of the car and the team. It makes me very happy to win this driver's title. Scott Williams from Camden, New Jersey  finsihed second overall in the co-drivers championship for the Northeast div., Group two.

Dec. 16,2005

RoadsportUSA is proud to announce the fielding of the team's vintage rally car (Lancia Fulvia 1300HF)  in the 2006 La Carrera Panamericana Mexican road rally in Oct. 2006. This is a five day road rally covering 2000 miles. We will be using a fully race prepped Lancia Fulvia 1300HF fitted with a 22 gal fuel cell.   We plan to tow down to Mexico  from the team's base in Solebury,Pa.  This is truly a classic event and the team is looking forward to this adventure.

RoadsaportUSA is looking for sponsorship for this event.  We are in need of $28,000 to fund this trip to Mexico. We are looking for a co-driver who can bring the funds needed for this event or a corporate sponsor who would like to get his name on Latin TV sport shows and news programs. Please  contact Ron Norton if you would like to sponsor this event for the team.

Team owner Ron Norton will be driving the team's group 2 cars along with Rally driver Andy Smith.

RoadsportUSA will  be fielding three group 2 cars and one open class car for it's rally effort this year.
